Average SAT Scores Haven’t Increased Every Year, but the Lowest Scores Have — A Key Trend to Watch for Thammasat BBA!

📊 Average SAT Scores Haven’t Increased Every Year, but the Lowest Scores Have — A Key Trend to Watch for Thammasat BBA!

From 2022 to 2026, the lowest SAT scores published by the BBA program at Thammasat University have steadily increased:

1,260 → 1,270 → 1,280 → 1,320 → 1,350

While the average score dipped slightly in 2023, the lowest reported score continued to rise, with more noticeable increases toward the end of the five-year period.

For students preparing to apply, the important question isn’t just:

“What SAT score did previous students get when they were admitted?”

It’s also:

“Are the statistics I’m using to set my target score still up to date?”

The same SAT score may carry different implications depending on the admission year. Relying solely on one former student’s experience or statistics from several years ago could lead to unrealistic expectations or an inaccurate assessment of the current admissions landscape.

Khru Huang encourages students to set their goals based on the latest available data, while focusing on areas they can genuinely improve, including reading accuracy, recurring mistakes, and time management.

Admissions statistics should help you adjust your strategy, not determine your future before you’ve even applied. 💙

📌 Important Note: The scores shown in the table are statistics officially published by the BBA program. They are not minimum application requirements. The published data does not distinguish between admission rounds and does not guarantee admission outcomes in future years.
