Many students may think, “I’ll just register on the last day.” But if this is your first time registering for the SAT, I’d like to encourage you not to leave it until the last minute.
Registering for the SAT involves much more than simply filling out a form and making a payment. There are several important steps you need to complete carefully, including:
If you wait until the final day and encounter system delays, payment issues, or find that your preferred test center is already full, you could miss the opportunity to take the test.
The August SAT is an ideal first official test for students planning to apply for Summer/Fall 2027 university admission. If your score isn’t where you want it to be, you’ll still have time to improve by taking the September and October SATs before many universities begin their application cycles. Planning ahead gives you more options and helps reduce stress later in the year.
I hope this poster helps you prepare every step of the registration process and gives you the confidence to complete your registration smoothly.
Don’t let a small mistake during registration become an obstacle to your biggest future goals.
I look forward to seeing you at our SAT Preparation Workshop on August 20, and I wish every one of you the very best on your SAT test on August 22. Good luck! 🍀
